VIP Promotions

The following general terms and conditions apply to all promotions, competitions, votes and polls featured on-air, in the Promoter’s interactive, mobile services, or included online

The promotion terms and conditions may be amended at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the txtmetv.com website. Promotion- specific terms may also apply.

The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands aged 18 years or over at the time of entering the promotion, unless specified otherwise.

Promotion winners must provide a UK telephone number to which service Reward Credits will be applied.

The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to ask for evidence to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of an entrant at any time. The Promoter may withhold delivery of any prize until it has received such evidence and failure to provide such evidence may result in forfeiture of the prize.

The opening and closing date and time for promotion entries is as indicated in the promotion information, viewable in the on screen scrollbar. Any entries received before or after these times will be discounted but may still be charged.

VIP promotions are available to all callers to the VIP rapid access chat lines. VIP callers can optionally choose to enter the promotion while they wait to be connected to the onscreen presenter. If they choose to play, they will be presented with a randomly generated multiple choice general knowledge question. All callers who answer this question correctly will be qualified to select a numbered box when they are connected to the onscreen presenter. Opening the box, the presenter will notify the caller which prize, if any, it contains. If they answer incorrectly, they will continue as usual with the VIP chat service. Qualified callers must remain on the line to be connected to the on-screen presenter to play. If they hang up, timeout or are disconnected, they lose the chance to play. Call durations are subject to a certain maximum spend of £30 under PhonePay Plus regulations.

Postal entry: Postal entrants may enter the competition by mailing their answer, full name, email address and a contact telephone number to the postal address as specified in the onscreen scrollbar. Entries sent by post must be received at the postal address specified for entries by the closing date and time for receipt of entries. It is the responsibility of the postal entrant to ensure correct and sufficient postage is paid. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any incorrectly addressed or undelivered entries or for any disruption, delay or misdirection of postal entries. A maximum of one entry per day per person is permitted. Bulk entries are void. On each promotion day, all postal entries received up to 12 noon (xxX and flirtX) on that day will be entered into a draw, and one correct entry will be selected to proceed with the game. Entrants must be available on the phone number provided with their entry between 9-10pm (xxX) 4-5pm (flirtX) to be selected to play live with the onscreen presenter. If they are not available on that number, they will forfeit the chance to play. Entries received after 12 noon (xxX and flirtX) will be entered into the following days draw. Draws for postal entries will continue for seven days following the final on screen broadcast of the promotion.

In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the correctness or acceptability of any answers given by entrants, or the operation of any part of the competition, network or phone system, the decision of the Promoter shall be final.

Prizes are as specified in the promotion information. Prizes are generally in the form of Rewards Points (service credits) and digital content for delivery to internet enabled mobile phones only.

No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, the Promoter reserves the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond its control or if any part of the prize otherwise becomes unavailable, and/or to offer an alternative prize.

The Promoter may refuse to provide a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of non-entitlement under the promotions terms and conditions or an entrant's breach of the Promotions terms and conditions, fraud or dishonesty, including but not limited to the use of technology which enables an entrant to evade applicable charges when entering the competition.

Assuming a valid telephone number has been provided, prize credits and digital content will usually be delivered to the winner within 24 hours of play. Digital content for mobile phones will be delivered in the form of a web link sent by sms to the mobile phone number provided. The phone must be capable of connecting to the internet to receive content. The promoter can not be held responsible if connection to the content is blocked or not available via the entrants mobile phone provider. Some content may require the phone number to be age verified for access.

Promoter reserves the right to amend any element of a promotion, competition, prize, vote or poll for reasons beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to the unavailability of the vote, poll or competition entry platform before the closing date, or for strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences.

Promoter can not promise that the services relating to a competition, vote or poll will be free from errors or omissions nor that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. These services may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of any problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, software, or for any technical malfunction or failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons reasonably beyond the control of the Promoter. Promoter will be not liable to you or to any other person in the event that any entry, vote and/or poll is lost or not properly received, registered or recorded or where all or any part of the service relating to a competition, vote or poll is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.

Promoter will not be liable to reimburse the cost or expenses incurred in making a competition entry or participating in a promotion, vote or poll where applicable.

Information and data ("personal data") which is provided by you when you enter a competition or participate in a vote or poll will be held and used by the Promoter and their service providers, network operators, suppliers and contractors in order to administer the vote or poll, and to administer and fulfil the promotion, competition, prize and in connection with payments for entry to the competition.

We will only pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes if you have accepted to receive marketing information from those third parties. If you are entering a competition by SMS, we may send you marketing communications in respect of similar products and services. You may opt out of receiving any marketing communications from us by SMS by adding the word NOSMS after the keyword or SMS entry number as specified in the promotion information.
